Seven Eggs

We were are the Bread Life Bakery having some Japanese style bread snacks and drinks.

The kids remembered watching the Puss in Boots movie. They first saw it in Bahasa Indonesia and now call Humpty Dumpty “Señor Telor”.

This brought us to hysterical laughter and questions about how you say egg in Spanish, in English, in Indonesian, in Thai, and Italian. And then we laughed at the kids trying to say “oeuf” and then “un oeuf”.

My favorite word for egg is “tamago” and that brought on the realization that I just taught my kids to say egg in 7 languages.
